About Two Roads Leadership Project

Two Roads Leadership Project offers unique interactive training modules for young adults to empower them with the knowledge, skills, and awareness to make informed choices about risky behaviors such as reckless driving, violence, and gender-based misconduct. The training modules include case reviews of actual misconduct which is recreated by using video surveillance footage, interview clips, and court exhibits.

The key to Two Roads success is its use of experiential learning. Two Roads methodology immerses participants in real-world case studies involving misconduct to gain practical skills that can be immediately applied in their personal lives to make better decisions when faced with adverse circumstances.

  • Participants actively engage with a subject thereby allowing them to develop a nuanced understanding of its complexities, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • The real-world case studies evoke emotions which are powerful drivers of learning. Experiential learning taps into this emotional connection, creating memorable moments that enhance retention long after the lesson is over.
  • The modules allow young adults to vicariously navigate challenging situations fostering adaptability and resilience in a world where the ability to learn and adapt quickly is a key determinant of success.

In essence, experiential learning is not just about acquiring knowledge; it’s about transforming that knowledge into meaningful understanding and skills through active engagement and exposure to real-world occurrences. Two Roads is not about checking boxes, it’s about preparing young adults for life.

NCAA Attestation Policy

The NCAA Campus Sexual Violence Attestation policy requires schools to focus on sexual violence prevention each year by having each university chancellor/president, director of athletics and Title IX coordinator annually attest that they have fulfilled specific educational mandates related to sexual violence, prevention and response.

Two Roads works collaboratively with a school’s Title IX staff to provide tailored presentations for schools on gender misconduct issues. Two Roads presentations complement other mandated Title IX trainings by providing students scenarios based on actual cases. Two Roads uses unique, interactive presentations that employs a web-based audience response system, by which students offer their opinions on actual case. The cases highlight critical aspects of a school’s consent policy. Students respond to questions via text and real-time results are displayed on a screen. Using this methodology, students grapple with nuanced examples involving affirmative consent using videos and other content thereby making the topic relatable and memorable.
